Lot of 10 Original M16 Waterproof Bags

This offering is for a set of 10 of our US Military Vietnam Era Chieu Hoi Magazine Bags. New old stock. These were made to carry the M16 20 round magazine and ammunition, sealed to protect from the jungle elements.

The second purpose was the unique defection/safe passage message printed on the plastic. Made to be left in the field and picked up by the Viet Cong the message encouraged defection to the Government and the plastic bag was the "safe pass" as a means to remove them from the battle field. This level of psychological warfare was known as the Chieu Hoi Program which translates to Open Arms.
