GI Leather Flyer's Boot FWU-8/P
USAF FWU-8/P Leather Flight Boots
Strap in with the same GI leather flyer’s boot FWU-8/P issued to U.S. aircrews for decades. The 7-inch upper is cut from black full-grain cowhide and lined in supple calfskin for glove-like comfort. A fold-over cuff hides the speed-lace system—one eyelet and six speed hooks—for rapid donning before pre-flight checks.
Inside, a heat-resistant Poron/Texon footbed and steel shank damp cockpit vibration, while the Goodyear-welted rubber outsole shrugs off jet fuel, hydraulic fluid, and non-skid deck grit. Built to MIL-B-83277 spec, these boots are non-sparking and non-slip—perfect for ramp crews, pilots, or collectors chasing Cold-War kit. Brand-new surplus; once this pallet is gone, they won’t taxi back.
