Original WWII dated 1945 British aluminum packboard also known as the General Service Manpack Carrier. These were used in the crossing of the Rhine river in 1945! The packboard was used to carry heavy loads like radios, ammunition and mortars. They have 2 shoulder straps, webbing straps, a waist strap and a head strap to lighten the load on your back. Weight 4 lbs.
