WW2 Rare Fixed Bale M1 Steel Pot Helmet
This is the very rare fixed bale version of the M1 helmet. The fixed bale helmet was different from the more common swivel bale helmet because it has fixed bale (where the chinstrap connects the bale it was a solid metal bale welded to the helmet). No chinstrap or liner included helmet only. The US Military only had these made early in the beginning of the war for a year or so then switced to swivel bale.
