This item was cast from an actual M6 bayonet, used on the M-14. It has all of its maker's marks in place, U.S M6 and the company that made it AERIAL. The bayonet was cast in a silicone mold so it holds all of the detail of the original. It is a good alternative to carrying your expensive original into the field, or an excellent display piece. It is cast in a black resin and makes a great movie or play prop.
