Improved design from the original Ka-Bar. The blade is high carbon, high chromium, fine grained cold rolled stainless steel, hardened to HRC 56-58, cryogenically treated to minus 120 degrees F. Triple-peaked® serrated edge and sharpened false edge, non-reflective, corrosion resistant blade. Handle is molded thermoplastic for highest resistance to temperature extremes, oxidation, chemicals and weather. Cat's paw surface texture with oval shape and grooves for exceptional grip. Powdered metal butt cap and guard. The sheath is custom molded kydex, an acrylic thermoplastic with high impact and abrasion resistance. Impervious to most chemicals, solvents, petroleum based products and moisture including salt water. Keeps it's shape without shrinking or cracking. Blade 7" long. Overall length 12". Ambidextrous. Condition: New.
