This M-1949 style sleeping bag was made by the government contractor who made the military issue bag. This is the original design bag used by the U.S. military in 1950's - early 60's.. The filling is 2lbs. 8ozs. of feathers. Total weight 6lbs. 2ozs. Mummy shaped for maximum warmth, full length, quick opening metal zipper down center. Tie strings at foot for rolling tight. Available in Khaki ripstop lining and shell - size mountain regular or O.D. green cotton lining and shell size mountain large. Condition: new. Regular size: 84" foot to top of hood, 25" at its widest point across shoulders. Large about 6" longer and 2" wider. Made in the USA.
